About Me

Hi, I’m Jonathan.
Welcome to my website.

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the world renowned Guy’s Hospital, London in 1992. After completing my post graduate experience in the NHS, it was always my plan to work in elite sport. As fortune would have it, the PGA European Tour, had just launched their ‘Physio Unit’ that year. Little did I know, that a lunchtime visit to the ‘Physio Unit’ during the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth, would be the start of an incredible 30 year involvement in Professional and Amateur Golf!

During that time, I have worked with some highly talented colleagues and flown around the globe many times, treating hundreds if not thousands of Tour Pro’s, Senior Pro’s, Club Pro’s, Scratch Amateurs and High Handicappers. I’ve had the privilege of being part of the European Ryder Cup ‘backroom staff’ on 4 occasions both sides of ‘the pond’. I have organised the Health and Fitness Assessments for 2 European Ryder Cup Teams and been Managing Director of an accredited DP World Tour International Clinic for the benefit of Tour Professionals.

10 Open Championships
7 Senior British Open Championships
4 Ryder Cups as European Team Physiotherapist ( 1993 / 1995 / 1997 / 1999 )
Owner/Director of an accredited DP World Tour International Clinic.
